Ken Hou Owner/Instructor
Ken is in charge of "entertaining" our guests. Fluent in Mandarin, English and speaks some tagalog and Japanese (especially after a few beers). After teaching scuba diving in Australia and Guam for more then 10 years, he returned to Taiwan in 1995 and started his own dive center - Pioneer Diver in 2002.
Ken has dived in many places such as Egypt, Galapagos, GBR, Exmouth, Sipadan, Sandakan, Sulawesi, Bali, Komodo, Thailand, Philippines, Ambon, East Timor, Solomon, PNG, Fiji, and more.

Sandy Tao Trip Organizer
Sandy has over 10 years of experience in diving. She is in charge of trip booking, certification records and accounting. During the week, she is busy in the office answering inquiries. On weekends, she oversees the logistics in the dive center and makes sure everything runs smoothly (as our dive center gets a bit hectic on weekends!)

A PADI Staff Instructor, besides teaching Standley is in charge of course scheduling at our dive center.

Joe Merrel Instructor
Originally from Michigan USA, Joe recently graduated from Chengchi University in Taipei with a degree in Diplomacy. He is fluent in Mandarin.
Ted Lynch PADI Diver Master
Ted is native American but speaks fluent Mandarin and some Taiwanese.
